Mulleys Motorways YN04 UJR and WCF 99 (BC09 NBC) in Barton Mills - 18 Sep 2020 (P1070698)

Friday 18 September 2020 (0759) – As part of the Covid-19 Coronavirus precautions, Suffolk County Council is providing additional funding to support the operation of shadowing vehicles on journeys relating to school transport.

Two Mulleys Motorways vehicles are seen here in Barton Mills when working the 0735 service 955 from West Row and Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds.

Leading is YN04 UJR, one of the four East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD double deckers acquired from Nottingham City Transport during August 2017 which are the usual performers on the service. This was former Nottingham 741 new in June 2004.

Following is WCF 99, a Van Hool Acron bodied Volvo B12BT new in March 2009 to New Bharat, Southall registered BC09 NBC.

The building on the right, White Lodge, was the local nursing home many, many years ago which saw the birth of many Barton Mills babies!
