Achtung Mimikry! Attention mimicry!
Die Große Sumpfschwebfliege (Helophilus trivittatus) sieht wegen ihrer gelb-schwarzen Färbung (und ihrer vergleichbaren Größe) einer Wespe ziemlich ähnlich und wird von Menschen und manchen Tieren gemieden, obwohl sie gar nicht stechen können. Der Biologe nennt eine solches Phänomen "Mimikry".
