Thanks a lot, Amelia! Actually it is a silver plated spoon where most of the silver has gone and the brass(?) shines through. Lol, a good thing you can't see many details or you'd see remnants of spider webs on the ceiling (it's 3,2m high and I don't often climb up there to remove them....)

Xata ^club

My favourite is the first PIP, and about spider webs keep them, spiders in a home are always usefull, I leave some webs in purpose, only eradicate old inhabited ones. Spiders have their territory and multiply according to food they can get.

Many thanks, Isabel! I always let spiders live:-) When they are in the corners and eat moths and little flies that's fine wth me. The bigger ones I catch in a glass and set them free outside.

Das mache ich auch so, Gudrun, ich töte keine Spinne. Ich erschlage ja auch keine Katze oder keinen Hund ;-). Übrigens entdecke ich keine Spinnweben, ich denke, es sind Lichtreflexe.

"Naja, eine Schnake schlage ich schon tot" - ich auch, Gudrun!!! Ich hatte über viele Jahre einen Riesenkampf gegen Wühlmäuse in meinem Garten. Nichts half, bis ich auf die Idee kam, in ein Loch Essigessenz zu schütten. Reuevoll erzählte ich es einem Gärtner, der mich aber beruhigte. Er meinte, ich hätte die Tiere nicht getötet, sondern sie hätten einfach die Flucht ergriffen. Hoffentlich, ich finde Mäuse eigentlich niedlich (nur nicht, wenn sie meinen Garten umgraben ;-) ).

Ich glaube auch, die sind vor den Essigdämpfen abgehauen;-) Mäuse nur bitte nicht in der Wohnung oder im Keller, vor allem, da bei uns Hantavirus grassiert!

Das Macro rattenscharf...mit einer Goldkante.

Herzlichen Dank, Uwe! Gestern Abend war's nicht besonders schön draußen, das war gerade recht. Manuell scharfstellen mit Live view und 10facher Vergrößerung kann ich bei unbewegten Objekten gut. Außer ich vergesse den Stabi auszustellen und wundere mich, warum hinterher alles unscharf ist..;-)

"Im Hauptbild ein alter und verkratzter Löffel"....mit Silberauflage, die inzwischen abgekratzt und aufgegessen ist, nicht wahr, Gudrun ;-)? So sehen meine Gabeln und Löffel auch inzwischen aus.
Ich habe mich gründlich in Deiner Küche umgesehen. Sehe ich richtig, Du hast noch zwei Puddingformen mit Deckel für Wasserbad-Garung??? Ich habe auch noch eine, mit der ich noch lange "Gemüse-Pudding" gemacht habe.

Danke vielmals, Uli! Ja, das ist ein ziemich alter ererbter Löffel, da ist an vielen Stellen das Silber ganz ab...Der gehörte wohl zur Aussteuer der ersten Frau der Mannes meiner Großtante, die ihn entsprechend lieblos behandelt hat, weil er von der Frieda war;-)
Und ja, du hast richtig gesehen, ich habe eine große und kleine Wasserbadform, allerdings seit Jahren nicht benutzt. Die muss man höllisch gut einfetten, sonst bleibt hinterher alles in der Mitte am "Kamin " hängen.

Ich musste gerade schallend lachen, Gudrun. Genau so ist es. Ich hatte oft Probleme, meinen "Gemüsepudding" (Wirsing und Gehacktes schichtweise) aus der Form zu bekommen. Heute mache ich ihn in einer Jenaer Glasform.

Many thanks, Diane! These were all last minute shots late on Sunday evening. Thankfully a kitchen is full of spoons. Some people like shooting selfies, I never even liked being in photos because usually I was the one taking then.
