Schön Gudrun, da sieht es ja fast wie in unseren Alpen aus.
Bei unserer großen Australienreise haben wir mal einen Abstecher nach NZ gemacht und festgestellt, dass wir Landschaftsmäßig auch schon fast wieder zu Hause waren...

Thanks a lot, Diane! They actually have a tongue-in-cheek-sign there showing the way to "downtown Urke";-) The school as been closed some years ago, but there is a "Landhandel" and a cafe which does heavenly waffles. Bank? They probably have to take the boat to the nearest town;-)
