A small lighthouse marking the cliffs around the westernmost point of Norway. The seas around Stadlandet are notorious for dangerous cross seas and plans to build the world's first ships tunnel are going ahead: skipstunnel.no

Das sieht mir sehr nach gefährlichem Wasser aus...
Solche Bauwerke wie Schiffstunnel durch Berge oder Schiffsbrücken über Straßen oder Flüssen habe ich bisher auf dem Canal du Midi erlebt.
Wird wohl ein größeres Projekt bei dem Schiffsverkehr dort und bei der Größe der Schiffe werden...

Vielen Dank, Udo! Ja, Stad ist gefürchtet- hier war noch ein bisschen alte See, aber ungefährlich, sonst wären sie viel weiter außenrum gefahren! In dem oberen Link ist übrigens ein Video, wie es aussehen soll...

Großen Dank, Lutz! Ich war auf einem etwas kleineren Schiff (MS Vesteralen), da ist man nicht so arg weit oben wie auf den großen. Ich hatte mir's auf einer Kiste für Rettungswesten gemütlich gemacht:-)

Der schwarze Felsen wirkt wie ein großes Meeresungeheuer, das gleich untertauchen will, Gudrun. Das Meer scheint sehr "kabbelig" zu sein.
Im Tunnel- und Brückenbau sind die Norweger ja Weltmeister, mit dem Schiffstunnel gibt es dann ein weiteres attraktives Bauwerk. Natürlich auch eine große Erleichterung für die Schifffahrt.

Schönen Dank, Uli! Das Meer ist dort kabbelig, selbst wenn es anderswo ganz glatt ist- bei Sturm keine lustige Ecke!
Ich bin gespannt, ob sie den Tunnel in der Zeit und im Budget gebaut bekommen!

Die früher bemannten norwegischen Leuchttürme haben alle ein Wohnhaus dabei, heute werden die oft als Ferienwohnung/ Hotel vermietet.
