.... entdeckt man dasgleich, wenn man von der Landseite her kommt ?
Ich finde diese Idee der Norweger, mit den in die Landschaft "eingebetteten" Skulpturen, genial.
Auf den Lofoten sind wir mal 4km durch Niemandsland gestolpert, um dann fast noch die Skulptur zu übersehen (Eggum, Der Kopf, nur ca. 25cm groß).

Schönen Dank, Heidi! Wenn du dich rechts von der Nordkaphalle hältst, kannst du's nicht übersehen, dort stehen auch die Kinder-der Erde-Skulpturen.
In Eggum war ich leider noch nicht, aber ein paar der klasse designten Aussichtspunkte habe ich gesehen.

Ja, wir haben den auch von allen Seiten fotografiert - und hinterher festgestellt, daß wir doch nicht alle Varianten erkannt hatten (hängt ja immer auch vom Lichteinfall ab - geniale Idee).
Irgendwann muß ich diese Bilder mal aufbereiten ...

How beautiful Gudrun. I was pleased to read your responses as I was wondering who would leave a mother and child to the elements in such a remote place. Good to know there are other sculptures there too. It has quite an impact your photo as it looks as if there is an expanse of beautiful emptiness around them and is quite eerie with the figures half covered with snow and that wonderful light. An awesome image

Thank you so much, Carol! The place may be remote but in summer it's crowded! It costs entry (not cheap), there's a huge parking lot and a large building with exhibitions, restaurant and tourist shop- a Norwegian Land's End;-)
That's why I prefer the winter when it's less crowded and you can experience a bit of end of the world feeling.
