Tromsø Bibliotek
Tromsø City library and archive was opened in 2005. The characteristic roof of the former Fokus cinema designed in the style of architect Félix Candela was retained.

Die Stadtbücherei/ Stadtarchiv von Tromsø wurden 2005 eröffnet. Das charakteristische Dach des früheren Fokus- Kinos im Stil des Architekten Félix Candela wurde dabei beibehalten.

Danke vielmals, Udo! Dabei stammt dieses Dach von 1969:-) Sie haben das Gebäude praktisch unter dem Dach neu gebaut.

Herzlichen Dank, Heidi! Im Winter ist das faszinierend, da rutscht der Schnee an den Ecken runter und es gibt keine Dachlawinen:-) Frohes Planen- und fahrt unbedingt mit der Seilbahn auf den Storsteinen!

Schönen Dank, Ulrich! Die Bibliothek ist ein echter Blickfang und sehr einladend. Freies WLAN gab's da schon, als es bei uns noch nicht üblich war.

This building was originally the cinema - Fokus Kino - and was opened in 1973 (!) After the new cinema was build the building was totally renovated - only the shell was remaining - and converted into the library that opened in 2005

Danke, poly! Hatten die 1969 auch schon Software? Das Dach ist nämlich aus der Zeit;-) Die haben das Gebäude ausgebeint und das Dach inklusive "Dachrinnen" aus dem alten Bau erhalten.

Gudrun, nee, 1969 noch nicht. Da hatten sie ja nicht mal für die Mondlandung was anständiges ;-)
Die ersten CAD-Programme kamen Mitte 80er, aber da war noch nichts mit 3D. Ich würde sagen, die ersten brauchbaren 3D-Programme für kommerzielle Zwecke gab es erst Mitte 90er.

Das hat sich wahnsinnig rasant entwickelt, wenn ich heute an den diversen Büros im Viertel vorbeilaufe, hocken alle Architekten am Bildschirm, meine Schwester hat damals noch alles von Hand gezeichnet;-)
