Welcombe Mouth Beach
Welcombe Mouth Beach is a very secluded and quiet beach on the Devon/Cornwall border. This hidden gem is part of a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest' and is surrounded by steep, rocky cliffs and costal slopes. When the tide is low it reveals a small beach of golden sand with many rock pools to be found along the fore shore. Along with some interesting geology there is a picturesque waterfall, which I have done my best to capture in the high winds and rain. Not the easiest beach to access and tends to be popular with the local surfers and ramblers.

Great pictures of both waters.
Like Anton it makes me run again around Inverness in the sixties.
Thank you Rosalyn.
Good evening.

It is near the Cornish border and a wild and windy area on the Atlantic coast.
I am pleased to bring back good memories, and many thanks for your very kind comments..
