Hi Dave, you caught me napping here, as I was still a little undecided as to which should be the main picture. Anyway it is this one and yes you are right about where it was taken from as my description clarifies too.

A fine panoramic view of the harbou., I still haven't been to Crete (nor to Greece at all, for that matter, Ir's been on my wish list for decades!).

Glad you liked it Andy. A fine Island and town here with the old town inside being very interesting too. Unfortunately, I was being rushed here with limited time. Time for a trip here for you methinks.

You found a lovely viewpoint for this image Herb...............beautifully composed and taken. It's good to see the context for the lighthouse.

I especially like the PiP in this case.............the light is quite stunning and the composition is spot on. I love the fishermen and the bollard anchors the shot nicely.
