Autumn arrives

Autumn arrives
A re-visit to one of our favourite wooded valleys here at Hardcastle Crags near Hebdon Bridge in Yorkshire brings me my hearts desire in golden leaf trees. Only moments from the car-park, we are greeted by this little shelter offering free guided walks. On this day, the offer will be taken up no doubt by the myriad families with children as it is also our local school holidays.

Hi Toz, yes a golden opportunity to get to the Crags yesterday. As you say, many photos taken including a few of our favourite Gibson Mill that I shall post soon. I was surprised on looking, that I did not have any of the mill on here. Another golden day today too at my park. I imagine you too have been out shooting.

Yes, perhaps the most beautiful of our days so far, although today (Sat 2nd Nov) looks promising at this early hour of 09:00. Not for me though perhaps as retail therapy is forced upon me :)
