An Island view

An Island view
Another view towards the Island of Yeronissos near to Agios St Geogios, Cyprus. A fine walk along this coastline shows us many crags and little caves. If you can get to them like I have here, they make for a nice photo frame. It would have been nice if I had caught the island between the 'anvil' or at the highest point of the inverse 'V' but we cannot always see these things when snapping. I hope that you forgive me.

I really like the farming, Herb, so don't beat yourself up about it. One must always be aware of tides when one is investigating coastal caves.

Thanks Amelia. Not really beating myself up -there are more important things in life! You are right, water and tides in such places have to be watched. The biggest danger here for me was to get my feet and equipment wet.

Very well framed Herb..........and the overhanging rocks have some super detail. I love the waves, and the rocks on the foreshore, especially the one running down the centre of the shot, which mirrors the shape of the waves.

Good that you have seen all the nuances of this Keith. Not the first time that I have used such overhangs to frame a shot. This was in fact a small through cave to another bay. I took some shots from further on in the cave too but this was better. The rocks here were fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it.

Good to know that you are seeing these super-big on your big screen. I have a spare "42" LCD TV and I tried it in front of me here on my computer desk but it was over-whelming . It still looks good on my 27" IPS screen. As for keeping them coming... no other way for me!
