The calming storm
The wild west coast of Ireland is here becalmed by a slow motion capture of time. These poles, I know not if they are an old wreck or groynes, make an attractive centrepiece in these soft waves. This taken at Rossbeigh in County Kerry.

Herb Riddle club has replied to John CassThere is a kind of peace in low tide, the ebb tide of the long sand beaches where we know the sea will be the king six hours later.

Daniela Brocca club has replied to Herb Riddle clubPS: In my opinion, they're probably the remains of a small jetty or pier. Groynes tend to run from the beach out into the sea and not horizontal to the beach and the uprights look too straight to be the ribs of a wrecked boat, which would normally be curved. Of course, I could be writing complete rubbish :-))
