Nice to see you here again Toz. As you know, this is such a wonderful valley, in fact one of my favourites anywhere. This was just the start of the shortened round walk from Kettlewell to Starbottom. As you say, lots of barns, walls and light too.

A wonderful atmospheric image Herb, pity about the power lines I did think crop the pole but you need it to give the lines purpose, enjoy your Sunday

Glad you like the scene Peter. I did see the lines both on taking and posting. I do have other photos very similar to this without them but this had a more 'mystic' air to it. I too thought about cropping but the lines actually compliment the lower horizontal wall a little too. Ah well its there now! Sometimes I think I should be more professional about these things and post only perfect pictures but Ipernity does not really require that in my opinion. It's that, what makes Ipernity quite nice and what it is!

Have visited often but not taken many photos there probably because of grandchldren needing watching!!

Nice to see you again Greg. Aye, this is indeed a gem of an area. I have walked along the river here at least half a dozen times over the last 30 years, always taking lots of photos of probably the exact same things. I was not disappointed in this trip which was shorter than our usual round of Kettlewell-Buckden-Kettlewell. Great Autumn colours to match atmospheric lighting, walls and barns. Glad it brought back pleasant memories, maybe on your next visit you might get the chance of more photos. Of course glad you enjoyed this.
