Autumn comes to Uppermill

Just days after seeing my first Autumn leaves of 2018, I get to see a scene like this. This spot on the River Tame is just near the visitors centre and stepping stones. The prehistoric plants/bones are a bit of a mystery to me I must admit. Sorry but they are not original to this spot. However they make a fine centre of attention behind which are these beautiful yellows.
As normal here, enjoy full screen.

Thanks Dave. Yes on my canal walk today I saw just a few of the trees in a beautiful yellow in the bright sunlight. That has all happened quite fast here. I know what you mean about things not having changed as I have been to one or two places with trees expecting them to be gold but no -like yours -completely green. Give it a bit of time my friend.

Hi John. I took this photo from on the canal path which is very popular here indeed. As well as that, just out of shot are stepping-stones through the river to a play-park nearby and so this spot is full of children too. Maybe then these artificial trees are there for them to admire and wonder?

Good that you like them Rosa.I must admit, that is shared by me as they make an interesting addition to my picture. As it is very close to the play-park etc, I don't really think that these are intrusive to nature. They have weathered a bit over the year or so that they have been here making them fit into the natural scenery better.
