Für diejenigen , die auf dieser Bank Platz nehmen mußten, ging es buchstäblich ums Überleben. Das Freigericht in Kaichen in der Wetterau tagte meist zu Pfingsten und war ein sogenanntes Blutgericht. Seit dem 15. Jahrhundert wurde hier über die schwersten Fälle entschieden: das Urteil lautete entweder Leben oder Tod. Noch Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts war diese Gerichtsstätte in ihrer ursprünglichen Form erhalten. Heute kann man sich nach einer schönen Wanderung auf dieser Bank ausruhen. So ändern sich die Zeiten ! Ich wünsch euch eine gute Woche und mit einem freundlichen HBM und lieben Grüßen aus Frankfurt hoffe ich auf ein bißchen Frieden und den Frühling mit viel Licht und Wärme !
