Nearing Kirkenes

Nearing Kirkenes on the Hurtigruten ship "Trollfjord" (since renamed), we passed through this area of thin sea ice. Best viewed large.

I have been prompted to post this image by seeing another from nearly the same position, but taken almost exactly a year later and posted on ipernity by Gudrun in the past few days.
