Poor old Fred
'Fred' is a wild Crimson Rosella, who has become tame and has trained me to feed him when he arrives and sings for a meal of grains. Unfortunately for him, it's the mating season for birds and he's just too old to compete for a companion - as is shown by the chewed feathers (also those on top of his head, which is why he appears to have a parting).

A moving capture, George!
Thanks for the explanation on lantana, I don't like nonindigenous plants either, but they are so pretty! I was surprised to learn how many introduced species there are everywhere!
By the way congratulations on Explore! :)
excellent portrait !
