Small visitor
This welcome little visitor to our garden is a Jackie Lizard, part of the Australian Dragons (Agamid) Lizards group. It watched me with interest as I wandered around taking this photo, but showed no concern. One I think Pam will enjoy.

Would you just LOOK at this guy? Note how he looks at you with the air of grand nonchalance and an air of proper superiority. :D Such a BEAUTY. You have captured his lovely details and composed him so perfectly within the image. I do believe he would give you a nod of approval if he saw this excellent portrait! :D
I'm not sure but it may be fairly obvious that I LOVE lizards! And amphibians! And birds! And.. hmm, this is getting out of control. :D
By the way, I also wanted to thank you for your lovely comments on my leaf/pine needles image, you really made my day! :)
And regarding the gaming--yeah, I'll agree with you--gaming is totally out of control these days and it's terrible because so many have no social skills or real-world experience because all they do is play games. :( As for me, I've been a gamer since I was a teen, when it all started. But I'd already established my joy of the outdoors. I've been playing video games of all sorts up to the present, and though I have lost myself in them from time to time, I always find my way out, shake my shoulders, and achieve balance once again. I know I am not the norm. Most are just junkies and it's terribly sad. There is a value to playing these games if that can be believed, but losing oneself completely is never a good thing and makes me feel sad for these folks.
It's all in your hands...
