More lovely architecture, Rosa. I love the touch of warmth the lighted lamp adds to the scene. Cheers, Joe

A very photogenic road junction Rosa...........the half-timbered Inn looks really lovely and the other buildings aren't too shabby either. I like the mist and the ensuing diffused light is quite lovely.

Beautifully captured.

It's bit gloomy here today but yesterday was lovely and I got out and took some photo's which was nice.

You were lucky to have a lovely day. It was still quite gloomy here yesterday.
I think January and February are the worst months of the year. After that
everything brightens up and we get some flowers....sometimes snow as well ;-))

Thank you for your lovely comment Nouchet. Hopefully the look without the poverty of Dicken's time. He is a favourite author of mine and recently I met his great great granddaughter, who is also an author and a charming lady.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Andy Rodker club
Thank you Andy. Robin Yapp has handed the business over to his son and stepson. I'm sure it is in good hands and will continue to flourish. Robin has come a long way since he was my dentist....much better than looking at teeth ;-)

A nice historic street scene, I wonder if the building across the road was once a coaching inn or maybe a farm, I hope the sun paid you a visit today and that you have a nice evening Rosalyn
14 months ago.
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter Castell club
The building on the left across the road was a very popular Coaching Inn at one time, but it is now flats. The building next to it was formerly Lloyds Bank and it is also now flats. They are all quite expensive and very nice, but I wish they still had their previous uses.
No sun here today Peter. Have a nice evening.

The perfect ttle for this beautiful image Rosa. The pub is charming and I love the flower boxes along the front of it. The stonework in the other buildings is really attractive too. You almost feel as if you have stepped back in time
