Scarborough ~ North Yorkshire

Quite a different view of this famous resort Rosa. I think that I have walked on that promenade just alongside those huts but..... Anyway another great capture from you. You certainly had a successful photographic trip up in the grim north. :)

Thank you Herb. We also walked on past the beach huts, as far as we could. I have been to Yorkshire several times, but this was the first visit to the coast. A very beautiful county with much to offer :-)

Such a well composed image Rosa...................I like the gorgeous sunshine and the light reflected on the surface of the water is lovely. The houses look superb tucked in against the hillside and of course I love that row of colourful beach huts, which stand out very well.

Judging by the sea state, it looks quite windy there!

I took this shot after going down the funicular railway Keith. Strangely there was no more than a breeze that day. Of course, seeing the beach huts, I had to investigate further, and it was a lovely walk.

I'd better get the beach hut shots ready ;-))

I have photos of the beach huts in Whitby, but not Scarborough. Methinks we'll have to take another trip to this area,
