I'm guessing that's a sheltered little spot Rosa, judging by the number of roses still intact and flowering. It's a beautiful little corner with wonderful architecture and gorgeous flowers. The detail you've captured is amazing!

Yes it is very sheltered Keith. The manor house has many different additions, but I think this part must be the earliest, and definitely my favourite part.
