Happy Hairdressers!

Happy Hairdressers!
In the nearby small town of Wincanton there are 9 ladies hairdressers and there seemed to be a lot of happy people about this morning, having not had their hair cut for 4 months! This one Is Capelli in The Old Bank House, looking ready to welcome their customers back! I've been cutting my own, so until I make a mistake I'm OK for now ;-))

goandgo, Christiane ♥.•*¨`*•✿, Ernest CH, Fred Fouarge and 23 other people have particularly liked this photo

Yes it is ;-) Whilst I was socially distant queuing for my newspaper, I could hear people talking about when they had made their hair appointments, and who was first to get one :))
Hope you have a nice evening as well.

We have a while to wait, Rosa, for the hairdressers to open in Scotland. Cheers, Joe

I noticed that the two barbers in town were still closed! Will you be first to their door when they open in Scotland Joe!? I think I have done quite well with mine...a new career maybe. LOL!
Cheers, Rosa.

I think I may leave it until the initial rush dies down. If the barbers here don't open soon, I will turn into Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses. LOL. Cheers, Joe

It looks very festive. They will be glad to get their customers back Like you I'm taking my time. Mine gets cut at home and I made my appointment for August. I've been cutting my own too and quite like it but Julie is a friend now and I enjoy her as much as her hair cutting.

It must feel like Christmas to them with all their bookings Jean :-) I am a bit hairdresser-phobic, so the fewer times I have to go the better. I think it stems from the time they cut too much off :-O

The hairdresser I had been going to for well over 30years looked at what would be involved and decided to retire !! like pubs they are not open in Leicester, the last time I went in a pub was after a funeral. I can keep the beard under control and I had the hair a lot longer than this back in the day, the colour was different then !!!!

I think there have been a few businesses like that Peter. Such a shame.
Those were the days....I used to love long hair on boys! I bet when many look back at photos they cringe now!!

Es una liberación dúplice; quitarse el pelo que sobra y el temor a pasar el trance. Yo también.

We will all have to be careful for some time José. So good to see a little normality come back, however small. Take care.

An up to the minute photo, Rosa. What an attractive looking shop. I love those paper balls in the window. They remind me of the Christmas decorations we used to have.

It used to be Lloyd's Bank Amelia. The new occupants painted the exterior and it brightened the building up. They have been there for a year now and doing very well. Yes, we used to have those Christmas decorations :-))

Beautifully taken, Rosa. They're celebrating so loudly (also, I gather, at the pubs) that the re-opening made its way into our evening news down here tonight.

Thank you George. Wow, that's surprising! I think everywhere went very well except for somewhere in London, Soho I think, where they were not really socially distancing. Only so much you can tell people!

Ha, ha.................the queues for the barbers and ladies hairdresser were bigger than the ones at the food shops in Havant.

I shan't be going..........I just run the clippers over my whole head and beard at No1 and No2 lengths respectively. I've also been cutting my wife's hair, but she also keeps it short so she'll also wait a while for things to settle down.

A lovely photo btw Rosa.........I like the colourful flowers and decorations.
