Inside the Church of St Mary the Virgin
Norton-sub-Hamdon Church. The late Lord 'Paddy' Ashdown was the MP for Yeovil for many years and lived in the village since the 1970's. His funeral was held in this church and inside there was a note saying, free to anyone who would like one. It referred to the Westminster Abbey Service of Thanksgiving, order of service booklet, for Paddy. I was pleased to be able to take one and did leave a donation. Please see PiP. Party politics aside, I really liked him.
