An extremely attractive image Rosa...........I love the colours of the houses of course, but I also like the way they all seem to be stacked on top of each other!

Thank you very much Keith. It was seeing them stacked as you say, and the same word occurred to me, that made me take this picture. I didn't want to get the fishing boats in as it would have changed the focus of the image.

When we were kids my mum and dad used to take us to Weymouth most Sundays during the summer. I still love it now :)

Spent a few days in Weymouth about 4 years ago, I really enjoyed that visit with a wonderful stay at a B&B run by a South African couple who went to every length to make us feel welcome.
You photo was instantly recognisable when I saw the thumbnail on my news page.

Oh gosh, aren't these all so pretty! I love the colorful paint jobs, they all stand out so nicely. Looks like a nice place to live. :)

A few 'matchstick' men and it would make a good impersonation of a Lowery !! It''s strange how house painted in assorted bright colours are considered attractive in a coastal setting, I could imagine the complaints if it was around here. I hope the lovely weather extend to you I went to Kinver Edge it was glorious. Although I'm getting concerned about my apricot it will soon be in flower :((( having got 2 last year I'm hoping for 3 this year !!

These houses are not adequates for someone who doesn't like neighbors !

A beautiful West Country coastal harbour cottages scene! (Although thay are more 'townhouse' than cottage on closer inspection!!)

Typical harbour side houses Andy. Most of the lower ones have shops or restaurants on the ground floors but the higher ones are mostly private residences.
