The Boss!

The Boss!
Weymouth, Dorset.

The crows were watching the seagulls and copying. A lot of empty razor clam shells along the coastline.

The beach is remarkably empty even for October except for the crows and gulls who are always in attendance, nice images Rosa,

Thank you Roger. As it was half term I was surprised that there were not more people but I think Dorset had theirs a week earlier than Somerset.

Good morning Rosalyn just waiting to see if you have any food !!! a lovely seafront image and a classic 'thirds' composition, another grey morning but mild. Coffee has been drunk so back to tidying the garden I hope you are having a nice day

Lots of notices asking not to feed them now Peter, and it has made a great difference I think.
Hope your gardening goes well. Another busy day for me now....but I'll have my coffee first!

A lovely seaside image Rosa. The background of colourful houses is just lovely - out-of-focus enough to be recognisable for what they are, yet still allowing the gull to take centre stage! Very nicely taken!

I also like the crows in the PiP - very clever birds!

I am pleased with your kind comments Keith, as I wondered whether I should upload this one and then thought, why not, as I quite liked it. Yes crows are very clever!

I love the colour contrast, Rosa, between the wall, water and then the sand. The gull is perfectly set against the backdrop of water and sand to make it stand out. Well composed.

The crows seem to be keeping a respectful distance from 'The Boss'. LOL.

Cheers.

Thank you for your very kind observations Joe. This gull was not going to move!

Yes the crows were keeping their distance...the boss made sure of that!
Cheers, Rosa.

The Boss seem proudly conscious of being the main protagonist in this marvellous composition..But ! !! , sorry for him:-)).. I love indulging in and greatly admiring the whole beauty of this composition Rosa !

Thank you for your beautiful comments Beatrice. I must say, since people have been asked to stop feeding the gulls, they do behave much better. Weymouth is a place close to my heart as my parents used to take us there a lot on sunny Sundays when we were children.
All the best, Rosa.

As I have said to Beatrice, they are much better behaved since people have stopped feeding them tit-bits. The problem now is that they tend to come inland quite a long way. I just cannot help liking them though ;-))

Thank you for your kind comments dear Fabio. The crows are quick learners! So many empty sells along the water line!
