I seem to remember something similar on Pan, Rosa, but the carriage doors were open. Lovely foggy fence disappearing into the distance, where the views must be wonderful. ;-)

The top of Snowdon is nearly always covered in cloud, but to walk up on a clear day is well worthwhile. My personal recommendation is to go from Nant Gwynant...
