I think it is an old variety Andy. As it grows the middle petals become very tight and a beautiful darker shade. All the best, Rosa.

It really does smell divine Christien :-) We had heavy rain earlier in the week which has hit the roses down quite a bit.....waiting for the summer weather to return now!!
