Between the squirrel and the jackdaws, they cost me a fortune in nuts and broken feeders Nick....I still feed them though :-))

Oh Goodness, Rosa, we have these things too!!, we can not keep them out of our trees, and the nuts from the Pecan trees. They also love to dig in around my plants and feeders :( grrrr!
but a good "shot" here of the pest , but maybe not the right "shot" to keep them away :)) (my husband has bought a pellet gun to deal with them,) but so far not much result, they are every where! in neighbors yard as well.

kind wishes, Sarah

We used to have a lot of them Sarah, but I think "something" might have happened to them!! I would much prefer to see the native red squirrel in my garden. This one is not very frightened of me!
All the best, Rosa.

Not many red ones left Rosa, so we'll just have to photograph the dreaded greys. Nicely caught though.

I would like to go to Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour Ian. There are lots of them there. Maybe I will make it this year :)

Well, Rosa, we not only have a stupid, obnoxious president running rampant in Europe, we also have squirrels crowding out yours!
