Their black and white film now is great. If you want kind of funky results you just have to let the film get old. Their color is still somewhat a work in progress, but really very good. I'm happy with all of it.
Read all about it and get your film here: us.polaroid.com/collections/film-for-polaroid-sx-70-cameras Though it is now becoming available more frequently in stores, it is still hit or miss where you can find it locally.
raingirl club has replied to Diane Putnam clubraingirl club has replied to (*NIKonGT*)Thanks for your comment on my dried Irish Eyes, and I have to agree with you--irises can be hard to appreciate when they are dead...though I HAVE taken some interesting images of them. I haven't processed them, but you know, it's a good challenge: how can you approach a subject that doesn't appeal to you, and make it something that you appreciate after you're done processing? :)
raingirl club has replied to Janet Brien clubSomething drew you to start the photo of the dead iris - you probably just have to find that draw again and try and bring it out in the processing. Or just move on with your life! ha! I can't bring myself to get anywhere near them, they just seem so yucky to me. But I'd lvoe to see if you ever finish one and see if I can find new interest in them.
