Money, money Honey ...

Money, money Honey ...
- how often have you wished for a 'money tree' ?
- we have a Money Plant ( or several ) in our Surprise - Inherited Garden
- do remember last Fall seeing some under the Dogwood
- now I get to see the entire process of growth
- having purple flowers to start it off is a winner !

Its "Honesty" Peggy

Let it grow and the "pennies" ripen and dry.

Then gently rub the outsides off and you are left with (the seeds in there ) and a beautiful silvery 'penny"

The stems look lovely in a dried flower arrangement.

Mum also use to lightly spray them with gold... and silver and copper spray paint for Christmas arrangements !
