It was replaced by a pole-mounted stepdown in 2021.

Not too many ancient subs like that still around. Excellent find and shot! I wonder how long it will be until XCEL molests the Rosefield 7.2 kV system?

The sub was named for the township where it was sited, but most of the load it serves is along that road and then north towards the little hamlet of Dolton.
I don't see them doing anything in the near future, but if they ever rebuild, I have a feeling they would just go with 100% new 23.9kV all the way through Dolton.
