Have a Good Friday everyone..............and a splendid weekend.
Street Art Collage (+PiP)
The Lido at Hilsea near Portsmouth, is in the process of being renovated and is currently hidden behind a series of temporary hoardings. As the hoardings were so boring the council invited some local street artists to come and brighten them up.
Street art also takes the form of stickers, so there are some of those in the PiP.
Grumpy Lifebuoy

This lifebuoy doesn't look very happy that at the untidy state it's been left in :-)))
Check out the PiP for a random bit of blue rope!
Crow on a Post
Today I thought I'd post a post............with a Crow sitting on it :-))
Taken at Hayling Island, Hampshire in a car park adjacent to the beach, using my car as a hide.
I think it's best seen full screen........
Fungi
I thought I'd post an extra image today, as I'm starting to build up a bit of a back-log. Nothing special, just a rather nice looking bit of fungi that I spotted on an old tree stump whilst on a walk.
If anyone is able to identify the fungi.........I'd be grateful. I think it's most likely to be a variety of Bracket Fungus, which is common on old tree stumps.
Edit..........thanks to aNNa, I have an ID which is:Polyporus squamosus, commonly referred to as Dryad's Saddle.

Beautiful Demoiselle Damselfly. (+PiP)
Taken last Friday afternoon near Southwick, Hampshire.
This aptly named Damselfly is found along many watercourses where I live in the south of England. It likes to sit on perches over fast flowing water. I was lucky enough to visit such a place with a friend who had local knowledge.
This one is a Male.......and you can find a photo of a Female in the PiP.
Best viewed large, I think.

This is the centre of the flower..........please check out the PiP for a wider view. This was taken from my garden and photographed indoors in natural window light.
Try viewing large.........if you have time. Thanks for looking and have a nice Friday.

Swans with Cygnets (Update) (+PiP)
I thought it was about time I posted an update on the Swan family at Hilsea Lido, Portsmouth.
There's a shot of an individual cygnet in the PiP if you have time to look.
Best viewed large I think.
Cape Figwort - "Salmon Leap"
I've had these in my garden for years, but this year they seem to have had a growth spurt and they're trying to take over the whole space, so I needed to cut them back. It's only because I took some photos of them that I decided to find out what they were :-))
These were photographed indoors under natural light from a window and you can find another image in the PiP if you are inclined to look.

A variety of Hawthorn tree. This was taken during a walk around Hilsea Lido, Portsmouth.
A view across Emsworth Harbour, Hampshire
Taken last Tuesday, which was a beautiful summers day. I don't know how they managed to get planning permission for that white house........it doesn't fit in with the rest of the houses at all :-(
Another image in the PiP. Thanks for looking and have a splendid Sunday.
Female Mallard (+PiP)
Taken at Emsworth Harbour, Hampshire. Mallards are my favourite ducks, and I think the female is much more beautiful than the male. There's a shot of a male mallard (taken earlier this year) in the PiP for comparison.
Please view large if you have the time..............thank you.
Wishing everyone a splendid weekend (especially if you have an extended one)!
Wall Flowers (+PiP)

Taken in Emsworth, Hampshire. This is the top of one of the high walls in the car park..........which just goes to show you can find beauty anywhere!
Another shot in the PiP. Thanks for looking and have a lovely Friday!
Street Art Collage

Three smaller pieces of street art I've found recently.
The Magpie and Rat were spotted in Hilsea, Portsmouth and the Cat was spotted in Chichester,.
View from the City Walls, Chichester
When I go to Chichester, I quite often have a stroll along the top of the old Roman city walls, which are still remarkably complete. I like to look at the backs of the houses and getting glimpses into their back gardens too. (Yes, I know I'm nosey.......but I can't help myself)!
All the gardens back up to the edge of the walls and most are excellent sun-traps.
