Wow,da bin ich wieder begeistert von deiner tolle Fotoidee und auf was du immer kommst lieber Keith,aber auf in deiner Aufnahme schaut das großartig aus,wie du das zerlegt hast und wie du es zeigst,das machst du immer super,du häst mir aber sagen können,wie spät es auf der Uhr vorher war,hahahaha,da hattest du echt einen tollen Einfall lieber Keith :))

Glad you enjoyed this one Güni..........it was good fun taking the clock to bits and setting up the shot.

I never thought to check the time..........maybe I s should have - before I took off the hands.

Interesting idea , Keith ..but the hard and specialist work of watchmaking remains to be done..

There were much more pieces than I thought.............and I'm sure a watchmaker would be appalled at what I did just to get a photo :-))

If you are not going to be tempted to re-asemble it you have plenty of subjects for macro images, a suggestion as the title is Time on My Hands how about a double exposure where time is on your hands ? just in time for World Photography Day

I've actually kept some of the pieces for possible future shots Peter, but I have nothing in mind yet. Not sure about double exposures though.........I've never tried them (although my camera does have that as an option). I'll have to have a think about that :-)

A resounding title about a metaphorical composition. In my house there was always a clock that showed the gears of it but not in such an obvious way. Very good composition Keith. You have to continue exploring this line despite the screams of your wife.

Oh, that's cool- a deconstructed clock! You could hang this in your kitchen:-) You arranged the bits very well and mono works perfectly to keep it all together.
I wouldn't have had the patience to take all these tiny bits apart;-)

I used to take 2 watches apart and make mobiles out of them - it hasn't always been easy to have the balances :-))
