Beautifully captured. I've planted them time and again in my garden but after a year or so they disappear.

My my, would you just look at that glorious flower head?! I never realized an ONION could come in so many types of flowering magnificence! Even on our own property there are lovely wild onions that steal my heart. Oh I love these flowers! Every year I say I am going to plant some, but haven't done so yet!
I haven't been for a few years, but Jill Dando's memorial garden in the park at Weston-super-Mare is full of plants this colour, including many allium.

This was taken in South Rock Gardens, but I have some in my garden that haven't yet flowered. They're not looking too good though, so I'm not getting my hopes up :-(
