Really nice details on the bee and geranium flower, Keith. What a cute little 5 pointed stigma.

A beautiful pin sharp capture. I thought it was the same geranium as I have but the stamens and pistil are prettier on yours.

LOVE IT!!! What a great view of this bumbler! Great dof and clarity, neat angle and the bokeh of everything makes this quite the dreamy image. So pretty. Your garden, you say? I demand access via teleporter this instance, sir! :D How grand it would be to spend time taking pictures there. :) Well, hopefully one day I can make that a reality! :)

Oh, and thanks so much for your comments on my LLAP picture, it was fun to do! I have since altered it to be more textured and less detailed in regards to my fingerprints...didn't think about the fact that there might be a slight possibility of my fingerprints somehow being abducted...however small that remote probability is, it's not worth wasting time over so I altered the pictures to make them useless for anything other than looking at. I don't like them as much now but whatever. :D Their day in the limelight has passed anyway, onwards to magnificent, glowing ferns! :D

Thank you too, for your compassion and caring comments regarding my low spirits of the past couple of days. Of course you are right--we shouldn't allow life's unfortunate events to affect us too much because there's nothing we can do about them, only how we choose to react. :) You will notice that my tail is back to a vigorously flappy state once again! :)

This is quite timely - I have just watch a Bee gving itself a good clean all over backcombing, sticking one back leg at a time cleaning all the way back to its tail. Watched it all for several minutes before it flew off and then thought, I could have photographed that ! ( hopeless photographer)

Ha, ha.............sometimes it's just good to watch! I can get so absorbed photographing things that I completely forget to look at what's going on around me :-))
