Und dann stell dir mal vor... die Russen hätten es nicht geschaft
die Deutschen in Berlin zu besiegen... sondern wären untergegangen.
Wie hätten die USA dann wohl reagiert?!

Nobody wants war. We should go back to the days when our leaders fought it out in single combat, hand to hand. That would concentrate a few minds.

Sorry, but what war do we want to talk about here? Why is NOBODY mentioning a war that is already underway thanks to Russia and is called a hybrid war? This is a war, the war is already in Europe, meine Damen und Herren!
Have we forgotten the illegal annexation of Crimea and what is still happening in eastern Ukraine?
Are all the facts that have occurred there since 2014 and the death of a minimum of 10,000 people while we calmly act on the Ipernity, isn't a war ? Isn't the leader of Russia a former active of KGB ? Ukraine is part of Europe, it isn't far away as Asia, although maybe some think it. Information and eyewitness accounts are available in the media on a regular basis (I hope that you are reading and watching them) and even on Wikipedia, and here a link to fresh news from April when we celebrated Easter ... www.tvn24.pl/wiadomosci-ze-swiata,2/armia-ukrainy-apeluje-do-separatystow-przestrzegajcie-rozejmu-wielkanocnego,827834.html

... it's hard to understand the enthusiasm for this red in the West ...
Your photo is good, as always, my dear friend, but without star from me, forgive me.

My photo is a STREET SCENE, made on a historic day. May 8, 1945 finished terrible WW2, with millions and millions of victims. Here the 2 boys celebrate it on the Sovyet Memorial. The most victims of this war were sovyets (26 millions - a lot of nationalities, Ucrainians too !). This is a fact.

Sorry, my dear ... but: IP is a photo plattform, not a discussion forum for politics.
So I will answer you in WA.

We all have right to understan, interpreteand comment the context of the publication on the social platform appears. Every photo has his own context - this make them more interesting !
Of course, I know very well that Ipernity is not a place for political discussions, nevertheless my comment was a response to the meaning of photo and the question which is the link under the photo. Along with justification. And what you published is concerned on politics. And our present times, not only about the past. This is what i see.
About Jewtuszenko - he won great popularity, however his opponents ( also great J. Brodsky, who named him "False dissident" ) are merciless: it was a usable art that was supposed to prove that freedom of speech prevails in the Soviet Union. In communist times he lived in abundance.
So, I hope, that you expected that there may be different comments on the subject. Thank you for your answer, Liebe Heidi, I will be curious to see more on WA from you. But above all - wish you enjoy your great journey !
