Swans on the Levels

One of the many groups that over winter on the levels and taken in the low sun of a December afternoon, One swan decided to dash off at the wrong moment so is sadly out of focus, Crook Peak at the Western end of the Mendip hills forms the backdrop to the image which is captured at the northern end of the levels (Sedgemoor)

My type of subject, They do gather in flocks like this in great numbers at times, they look like Mute swans, You also have some Bewick swans at Slimbridge. The signet end right has probably returned with the parent from last season.
It's a fantastic view and looks good large as you suggest Roger but being in the open like that I bet it was a bit nippy.
