Way Out

Way Out
The narrow channel mid image is the only route in or out of Porlock Weir (out of shot left) even then access is tide dependent mainly because of the huge tidal range of the Bristol Channel, This image was taken at low tide and highlights how water levels can change with the twice daily tides.

Large for detail please

A fascinating shot Roger with so much to look at and enjoy. I love all the boats and the pebbles in the foreground and the buildings are perfectly situated in the frame. The sky is really splendid.

I hope you didn't throw any stones while you were there!

Pretty coastal scene Roger, quiet a busy shot the sky is as inviting as is the fore and central ground and what a privilege it must be to live in one of those properties.

Nice comments Maurice, Thank you,
The cottage on the right is a holiday home, but as you say a wonderful place to live providing you don't mind putting out the sand bags from time to time.
