c1910 Vintage Bureau

Lovely old solid Oak Bookcase of this family heirloom Gillian.. Noticed that it has most unusual handles ?

Beautiful bureau, does it have hidden drawers? (My grandmother had one, hence I know)

Thanks Diederik. Inside, it has a very practical desk and filing area with a visible drawer, no secret places, except my Dad used to tape things underneath, sometimes.

isn't it funny to have an old oak bureau containing an XL book (paper made of wood) inside on the subject forest ...................

I know. Many of the books in the bureau are associated with the area where we lived, near the New Forest in Hampshire, England. The Forest was written by Edward Rutherford.
