At One Mile Beach, Forster, New South Wales, Australia.

Cape Hawke Surf Lifesaving Club was founded in 1978 to provide voluntary beach patrols at the southern end of One Mile Beach in Forster. The first clubhouse was built in 1982 and underwent major renovations in 2014. Today, the club provides voluntary beach patrols from the beginning of the September school holidays to the end of the Easter school holidays.

One Mile Beach stretches from Bennetts Head for 1.3 km to the prominent southern headland of Cape Hawke.

'The first authentic European record of the area comes from the diaries of Captain Cook, who sailed along the coastline in the 'Endeavour' in May 1770 and named Cape Hawke as he passed.'

It always amazes me how different a photograph can change when done in b/w vs color. Both of your images are good. The pip with it's color makes the image appear new and fresh at the beach. The main image takes me back to another era. The 1950's feel oozes out of this image. As Marj, pointed out, what a clean, and well maintined building. Bravo
