This exercise was interesting. Even though it is the same photograph the blurring seems to change the part that is not blurred. I am not sure I am a fan of this technique yet but I am still looking for a really good subject.

I agree, can't see the point. Seems to work OK on crowds seen from above.

like Pappy I don´t really like this type of techniques, but nice to try. A nice take of the theme.

My efforts took the route through picmonkey as well Gillian and like Judith and Pappy, I am not enthused about this type of photography technique. Perhaps because I have not done any of it before. Now having said that, I have seen some very nice challenge results this week. As a friend of mine used to say, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained"! You put a lot of time into this week's challenge. :)

I think we should do this one again later. It has been a learning curve, be interesting what is presented in the next batch of images ?

you can do it again and post in the NOT group.. that's what it's there for.

I didn't find how to do it in picmonkey, so I did mine in ribbet.

A good choice of image Gillian although it would have worked better still I guess if you'd been able to access a higher vantage point. That said, I think you've come up with a very effective tilt-shift image ... a tricky week! :)
