The orange bike says hi to the orange tram. The turquoise-yellow portapotty keeps itself contained. All very civilized.

The bikes look as if they are raring to go once the tram has moved off.

Everything in Toronto is raring to go, Jean. Except, I suppose, me.

Relax, Léopold? In Toronto? You can be arrested for that.

Red is indeed the colour of the day!

Red and white are our national colours, George, so we see a lot of them. Toronto's colours are blue and white, but you only see them on the occasional city flag.

The TTC is bike-friendly, David, which may account for the tribute.

Well observed and taken John..................I love the bright red (matching) colours of the bike and tram.

I notice the Tardis has had a bit of a facelift as well :-))

Thanks, Keith. I think it's odds-on that a Tardis with a working chameleon circuit will always show up in Toronto as something from a construction site.

Très intéressante cette combinaison de lignes et de couleurs ..!
Si je peux me permettre (?) la cabine sanitaire avec ses couleurs vives est " de trop " dans l'image et détourne inutilement l'attention .... (ce n'est que mon avis ! )

I'm of two minds about it myself, Robert. The pastel tones are a bit jarring. My eyes are always drawn to red, which meant I wasn't distracted too much. It's good to be reminded, however that not everyone appreciates colour in the same way I do (I originally typed "the sane way I do" -- perhaps a motivated slip), and I will pay more attention to this aspect of composition.

By "the same way I do" I mean that we probably all see colours differently. One confusion I've noticed in particular here is between red and orange. Different people draw the boundary in different places. The differences are particularly marked between pink and orange. I think tinned salmon looks orange, but it seems most people think it's pink. I differed from the majority in the same way about our old two-dollar bills (now extinct).
