I'm of two minds about it myself, Robert. The pastel tones are a bit jarring. My eyes are always drawn to red, which meant I wasn't distracted too much. It's good to be reminded, however that not everyone appreciates colour in the same way I do (I originally typed "the sane way I do" -- perhaps a motivated slip), and I will pay more attention to this aspect of composition.

The TTC is bike-friendly, David, which may account for the tribute.

Thanks, Keith. I think it's odds-on that a Tardis with a working chameleon circuit will always show up in Toronto as something from a construction site.

By "the same way I do" I mean that we probably all see colours differently. One confusion I've noticed in particular here is between red and orange. Different people draw the boundary in different places. The differences are particularly marked between pink and orange. I think tinned salmon looks orange, but it seems most people think it's pink. I differed from the majority in the same way about our old two-dollar bills (now extinct).
