The various colors really bring this to life. In fact, they give it a surreal quality to my eye.

I was surprised by the colours along the colonnade, Bob. This scene was a lot darker to the eye.

Tremendous: it makes me think of our increasing disconnect from our surroundings. How many times do you look around now, especially on public transport...and everyone’s oblivious in the bubble of their phone?

A great catch, a cathedral-like atmosphere , the colour and light as if on stained glass.

Thank you very much, Steve. Most people seem to have created their own little worlds in their phones so they don't have to pay attention to the world around them. One of the things I like about photography is that it gets me to pay attention to my surroundings.

Brilliant. Agree with previous comments. The good part about people not paying attention is that has become much easier to take clandestine shots without them realizing it and glaring or turning away.

They also will walk through your shot when you need a passerby or two. Yiu have to get devious with the people who think they're being polite by not walking into your shot.
