Blue skies and you're getting over your cold? GoGoShoesGoGo indeed!

(I will let others comment on the surreally placed lantern frame in the upper right ...]

Yes, we had sun today, Sarah, and fresh snow, which meant more reflection of it.My cold is improved, thanks. Thanks also for identifying the lantern. I wasn't too sure about that.

And a large red cross (of the Calvary kind) on the left to balance the lantern. Not sure I could expound on the symbolism in any meaningful way, however.

I took the red cross of the Calvary kind comment too literally. However, as a result, I found a figure on the rooftop on the left who might be Jesus. Great city scene with so much interesting detail.

Thanks, Jean. Everybody goes to Chinatown. This is the second Chinatown -- the remains of the first one are about three-quarters of a mile further down the street (most of it was razed to build New City Hall), and yet another one a couple of miles farther yet. And there more outside downtown.

And Cosmopole, José. Over half the people in Toronto were born in other countries, so it has many neighbourhoods like this.

A wonderfully colourful and dynamic street image John. I hope you had your Go Go shoes on!

Good to hear you're feeling better.

Thanks, Keith. As I mentioned to Judith I'm going to post another photo of sidewalk traffic in this neighbourhood.

Most excellent photography, John! I love the color (ever so slightly vintage) and the tilt.
