An allegory of compartmentalized life? As I've said before, your depth of field is enviable.

Thanks, Bob. The idea of that allegory may well have been lurking in my unconscious. I'm using a compact, and they get good depth of field -- the challenge with them is sometimes to get reduced depth of field. I have exploited that feature to get a feeling of hyper-reality, but I've been sacrificing detail that way.

Thanks, Jose. Perceptual ambiguity makes for a good photograph, I think.

A multiplicity of frames..........and the person in red is perfectly positioned to draw the eye into the shot. It's quite difficult to work out where the reflections begin and end, but I enjoyed looking. Nice job John.

That occurred to me, too, Clyde. And back when I worked in buildings like that I felt as if I was in jail. At least I got out of them before they started making people wear IDs. Next step is the orange jumpsuit.

I hadn't thought of that, Maggs, but that is one of the reasons I don't usually have a title. Leave that to the viewer.

That red jacket really completes the shot, well framed by the various building/reflection lines.

I like to think about what all three people are doing, where are they going? Are they hungry for pie? Well, I like this shot, John.

Thanks, Diane. Those are some of the great questions of urban life. Very suitable for asking in subway cars.
