Wonderful rusty iron work in those straight lines but have to agree, the tree probably would be better off with being bound in that way or are those grids removable as the tree gains in size? :)

These ones are made in four 90° segments of a circle - as the trunk fills the centre it will push the segments out - if noone notices in the meantime!
