I COULD SPEND HOURS THERE !

Avec un cadrage carré, tu supprimais toutes les voitures de cette photo à la perspective plaisante réalisées dans les règles de l'art. Au début, le contraste assez poussé me gênait, mais finalement, après réflexion, il convient bien aux tonalités de cette image.

Merci pour la suggestion, Jean-Luc. Intuitivement j'avais besoin d'une perspective plus large et profonde que celle que tu suggères, et j'ai dû composer avec ces voitures qui, ma foi, font partie du "paysage"... Idéalement il aurait fallu que je me surélève d'un voire deux mètres...

A square version of this would be interesting, but a completely different type of photo.

I like the street scene type feel of this with the car in the foreground.

At first quick glance I knew this must be an American scene! Probably the fire escapes did that for me.

We have a chinatown here in Portland. Used to be active, now not. We still have the gate: But within it we do have a Classic Chinese garden.

Your photo (with the cars) places it firmly in time. Very enjoyable and pleasing to my eye.
