This is one of the most comprehensive flute concertos ever written. Einojuhani Rautavaara (born in 1928), one of Finland's leading composers, requires the flute soloist to bring on stage four different flutes, and to display the different capabilities of each. The instruments are the piccolo, the standard flute, the alto flute in G, and the true bass flute. It was written after the composer rejected the 12-tone and other advanced or experimental styles he had been using, returning to a songful, even Romantic style.

Quant à la musique ,le vivace me semble un peu plus guerrier que naturel mais j'aime l'allegro et l'interprétation de cette jeune fille très charmante pour ne pas dire charmeuse ( dans le sens du charmeur de serpent)

Si l'on veut continuer à pouvoir s'éclairer, se chauffer, il faut bien trouver un moyen de produire de l'électricité ! elles ne me dérange pas particulièrement mais ils devraient les installés dans des endroits ou elles ne dérangent personnes...... et sans enlaidir les paysages !
