I'm afraid that we are the only guarantors of our future - at least that's what I'm learning from life, without which it's of little interest (it's the lesson I'm learning as I approach retirement, where I hope to find the energy that will exceed that which I've always put into the companies where I've worked, in the interests of their shareholders).

Comme le dit fort justement Ulrich cette superbe capture et la chanson désabusée de Leonard vont si bien ensemble..... les couleurs et l'énergie des arbres et de la végétation ne sont qu'espérance pourtant mais se cachent les nuages gris du ciel et les désillusions. Everyone knows, or should know, today, that the smallest path traced by man through nature for his own selfish needs, and often to the detriment of nature, and which we may still find admirable, is in the end a path traced towards his own grave. That we must revise our integral conception of our relationship with nature, with that of the other men on our planet, if we want to avoid the collapse of our civilization and its suicide. Leonard and I are not saying anything else, and this is audible, I have no doubt, to your ears.
